Funding scheme for cooperation between Nordic and Baltic civil servants is open for applicants in 2015

The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Public Administration is open for applications from civil servants and other staff in the public sector. Please note that the deadline is 30 March 2015. Don't miss the chance as there's only one application round per year.

In order to obtain funding your project should involve partners from at least three countries: Nordic applicants should visit a minimum of two Baltic countries, while Baltic applicants should visit partners in at least two Nordic countries.

Why apply?

  • Your colleagues in other Nordic and Baltic countries have ideas, plans, projects and experiences worth discovering and discussing with partners;
  • Applying and reporting is easy and user friendly – all can be done online at NB8-Grants.

Results from 2014

Sixty-nine applications from the Nordic-Baltic region were approved for grants with a total budget of 293 897 EUR in 2014.

Feedback

Anne Rönnberg, Head of the Child, Youth and Education Office in the city of Solna in Sweden, applied for funding for the project "Nordic-Baltic perspectives on preventing drop-outs, youth unemployment and exclusion" in 2014: "The very successful exchange of good practices and methods in the field of education, employment and social inclusion that was the core activity of the project is a very fruitful way to work towards the Europe 2020 targets and will increase the competitive power of the Baltic Sea Region. The main focus area of the project is reducing early school leaving and youth unemployment, which are top priorities both in the Baltic Sea Area and in the EU as a whole. The programme surpassed our expectations. It finances exactly the kind of activities necessary for initiating cooperation with partners from other countries. The opportunity to meet colleagues, discuss and compare methods and approaches to identify areas of common interest for possible continued cooperation is invaluable."
